The duration of the guided tour is approximately 45 minutes. \nYou can also book a private guided tour of the museum by contacting the museum’s customer service (+358 17182 603\, kuopionmuseo(at)kuopio.fi). \nKuopio Museum\nIn Kuopio Museum natural sciences and cultural history come together in a unique way. There are fascinating and current temporary exhibitions\, and permanent exhibitions presenting Eastern Finnish nature and the past of Northern Savo. People of all ages can easily explore the exhibitions with functionalities using modern technology. There is also an inspirational playroom for children. \nPERMANENT EXHIBITIONS\nIn addition to temporary exhibitions\, there are three permanent exhibitions in the Kuopio Museum. \n\nAGE OF HUMAN presents the history of Northern Savo from the Stone Age to today. The cultural and historical exhibition shows the life of local people in different times.\nCHANGING NATURE presents the history of Northern Savonian nature and looks at its present state.
